XOVA on Rhubarb Radio

Xova’s Wayne & Stuart dropped into RHUBARB RADIO which is located at the Custard Factory in Birmingham for the lunchtime show with Michael Henry to discuss the release of the new single OUR GENERATION.

Michael Henry is one of the leading exponents of Dub music in the UK and has remixed many famous names such as Steel Pulse to his credit.rhubarb3

Xova took to the stage as the main headline to local Birmingham Indi-rockers Octane Ok at the hottest new venue in Birmingham in the newly renovated and launched O2 Academy.

A fairly busy night, considering it was a bonfire saw the XOVA band kick in with a non stop set of thumping reggae infused anthems such as Our Generation ( the new single ), Knife Krime City and the newly written track, Nine Lifes !. With a kick ass Rythem section and the best brass section this side of memphis with wicked vocals of local hero Wayne Lawrence, the band even fused in credible and known rythems by Coolio and Seal !!! AMAZING !!

This band is more than a reggae band as there name cry’s out, they are reggae yes but they are Pop, they Are rock sometimes and they definately have soul.

The testimony of their perfromance was that the others bands fans were even shouting for more at the end, somehow I think we are going to hear a lot of this band in the coming year, so go check them out when they play next on December 4th at the Actress & Bishop in Birmingham.
